Lightening Coaching with Shant
Everyone experiences self doubt, anxiety and even paralysis at one point or another. As a coping mechanism it’s common to become ungrounded and look for solutions for the world at large, rather than address what’s directly before us in our personal life. But before we can spread our wings, we must first sew our seeds. By taking small, humble and consistent steps toward stabilizing your own personal life, you are able to the become the embodied change and solution that you’d like to create for the world at large. Sometimes that means taking an honest look at what needs to change, and doing what needs to be done even if it’s confronting and uncomfortable.
These questions can help guide you along the process, no matter where stagnancy is showing up for you in your personal journey.

Singing Lesson: Archetype with Shruti-box
You have a magnetic field that calls in people, places and opportunities that align with your inner world. What you think, feel, and do all influence your magnetic field. When people are within your magnetic field, they are directly influenced by you.
The magnetic field generated by your heart is 10 times stronger than that generated by your brain. This is why it's key to stay connected to your emotions rather than your thoughts- your emotions are magnetizing circumstances and creating your reality. Your magnetic field can be detected 3 feet around you in all directions. The healthier you are, the stronger your magnetic field is. Doing these practices daily will help amplify your field by moving stagnant energy and keeping the mind clear.
If you are focusing on creating and manifesting a specific outcome, practice feeling into the completion of this through this week's vocal practices. A good place to learn more about the power of the heart and your magnetic field is with The Heart Math Institute.
How are you helping others with your presence, kindness and compassion? Practice listening to others, and feel into what is being asked before listening to yourself speak in response. Your voice carries with it the emotion of your being. Taking time to slow down, and connect to your body and emotions before speaking and singing will help you show up empowered in all your archetypes. Your magnetic field is your personal Kingdom. When people come in contact with you, it's an opportunity to show up.
Determine moment to moment, what archetype inside of me is being called upon. How can I lean in on the qualities of my King, Queen, and New Hope to best respond to the environment?
In this week's singing practices you are encouraged to consider what it means to become these archetypes. To practice holding that energy and emotion in your voice and in your words. You are powerful, you are a creator. It's up to you what it is that you're going to create, and how you're going to do it. Own your Kingdom by owning your voice.
WEEK TWO
session three
Owning your truth is a large part of owning your voice. When you accept your truth, all of it, you can trust yourself to speak up for yourself. You can trust yourself to set clear boundaries, and communicate from a place of feeling safe and secure.
When traumatic events happen early in life, like sexual abuse or abandonment- this impacts our ability to feel safe communicating. These experiences are stored in the body’s memory, and when an experience triggers the feeling of being overpowered or not considered in any circumstance, our body responds as though we are experiencing that early trauma again. This is why it’s common for the body to go into fight, flight, freeze or fawn when we’re confronted with an opportunity to speak, set boundaries or request needs and desires.
These group healing sessions, and this entire course, is a safe space to reflect and honor the experiences you’ve had on this human journey. By revealing experiences that hold a strong emotional charge, you are beginning to move blocked energy and this is how we rewrite the narrative from victimhood consciousness to self empowerment. You are able to create for yourself your own safety, stability, and you are free to take up space.
Begin practicing this today, by asking those close to you to support you in the process of moving through challenging moments of not feeling heard, understood or welcomed to share your voice. This could look like saying to a person you trust…
“I’m in a voice activation course and I’m identifying that early life happenings have effected my ability to feel safe while communicating. Can we practice communicating while I’m looking out the window, and you’re still in the room? Can I ask your support for this?”
Feelings and old memories may surge when you finally have a safe container to feel your body while talking and staying in connection, while not in confrontation. Let yourself go there, and fall apart if needed. You are entrusting this person with a role of leadership. It’s okay to feel your feelings.
Not everyone knows how to ask for help, or can even identify when they are triggered. Not everyone has a practice of looking at their emotional blocks or unresolved traumas, and so they are unconscious when they are acting out. They are literally not present to the way that they are speaking and behaving. This is becuase when there is an aspect of your life that you’re unwilling to address, this aspect will continute to arise throughout yuor life until it creates a large enough impression that you’re unwilling to be blind to it anymore. What’s happening here is that your unconscious self is seeking healing by coming into consciousness.
You can take a role of leadership by recognizing when a person you are talking to is triggered into an earlier version of themselves that is acting out unresolved trauma. Recognize, who are you engaging with at this moment, is it the adult or is the wounded inner child? Identify who you’re talking to and speak to that aspect of them that is looking for resolution and healing. This will help you not take verbal confrontation personally, and lead by example so that they understand how to show up for you when you’re triggered. If you have the ability to hold loving presence, and really anchor deep into your body and the moment, they will be able to see themselves through your eyes. This is a miraculous reset. I’ve experienced it personally, and also held this space for others. By not shrinking or engaging, you are not playing out the role of the perpetuator of their trauma, and your acceptance and compassion of their expression, instead of judgement, will become a new felt experience in the face of their patterning.
You’ll find this knowledge and more woven into each of the lightening coaching session from Monday. While one person is sharing their personal experience, on an energetic level we can all relate to each of the stories shared here. By following along with the guided taps and changing the words to match your story, you’re participating in group healing. Even if you were on the call live, it always helps to watch the video again. A reminder, these sessions are confidential.
session four
Tantric Somatic Anger Ritual : Get into the Body
Emotion lives in our body, and if we don’t give it a healthy outlet, then it becomes stagnant energy. Emotion is energy in motion. If you don’t have a regular practice of expressing your full range of emotions, then your external reality will manifest experiences for to stimulate the emotion so that the energy can move. This can get messy…
You’ll find that yelling into your cupped palms, or full body slamming your pillow is an excellent outlet for all the pent up aggression that may not even be yours… truth is we inherent these emotions from our ancestors. Did you know that trauma can leave a chemical mark on a person’s genes, which can then be passed down to future generations? Our genetic makeup goes back about 9 generations. That means that your body is unconsciously responding and reacting to your environment as though it has experienced war, starvation, murder and rape. You can alter the mechanism by which the gene is expressed with somatic exercises, like singing, tapping and tantra. This is called epigenetic. Dr. Bruce Lipton is an expert in the field if you’d like to go deeper on the subject.
Here’s what we covered in today’s ritual:
Shake your wrists, arms, legs, hips, head and whole body like a wild person on the dance floor. Do this every morning for 5 to 10 minutes after your daily ritual to reset the nervous system, get your blood moving, strengthen your muscles and bring your body back to life.
Throw a fit: Lay on your back or your stomach and kick your legs and toss your arms like it’s just not fair. Use your words and give a voice to that time you lost your debit card in a foreign country, your car broke down on the way to an interview, or for the suppression of sentience life around the planet.
Body slam your pillow: On your mattress, standing on your knees, lift your arms above your head holding a pillow and then full body slam it down. Alternatively, raise your arms above your head and slam your fists down onto a pillow on the bed. Get your rage out, punch the pillow, and feel your strength.
Hip thrusts: With a pillow or two between your knees, thrust your hips and groin down hard and fast repeatedly onto the pillow. Feel your hips, your hamstrings, your core and genitalia as a part of this exercise. This is a powerful somatic movement to clear sexual trauma from your body’s memory. This is a safe space you’re creating for yourself to go into the story of being both the victim and the perpetrator.
Give yourself time and space to come out of the healing container. Take a shower or bath, or head out into nature.
